Following the latest report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, global average temperatures could warm by 3.2 degrees Celsius (5.8 degrees Fahrenheit) by the end of the century unless nations follow through with the environmental policies in place and new ones to be developed. 

The next 7 years is a window to prevent the irreversible damage of climate change by 2030. Thus, the Pocket Project is developing the annual Climate Consciousness Summit to address the inner and outer transformation needed to address this, and aligning with the aims of the Inner & Sustainable Development Goals. 

The Pocket Project brings a trauma-informed approach to climate consciousness and action, acknowledging that trauma lies at the root of our inaction in the face of Climate Change. Trauma symptoms of numbness, apathy, hyper-activation and fragmentation dramatically slow down our ability to respond adequately and implement the Paris climate agreements. Our lack of relationship to the crisis is part of the crisis.

The Pocket Project aims to expand and ground our sensitive relatedness to the climate crisis. During the 10-day online program you will listen to voices from communities on the frontlines, from the ground at UN COP28, and from climate solution holders. The work is to address climate grief within a systemic understanding of collective trauma and healing applied in the solutions and efforts championed by the speakers of this summit.
